Richa Agarwal is a social entrepreneur, an educator and has multi-sector experience in managing innovation for organizations such as Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, Eileen Fisher and the NGO BRAC. Having spent many years working at the intersection of the global apparel industry and international development, Richa's forte includes operationalizing supply chain sustainability via the use of strategic technologies. Funded by the Gates Foundation, Richa has managed large projects to bring innovative technology and CSR approaches to the apparel sector, impacting over 65,000 workers and indigenous artisans. Currently, Richa is scaling her latest ecommerce venture ShopShoku.com, retailing handmade low-carbon biodegradable goods produced by indigenous artisan cooperatives around the world. Richa teaches graduate courses in Design Management and International Business at the Pratt Institute. She has addressed audiences around the globe on the topics supply chain transparency and human rights, including policy makers at the United Nations and the OECD headquarters in Paris.
