Educated as a Graphic Designer at the Rhode Island School of Design, Robin’s pas¬sion for art and design have resulted in a successful career in environmental commu¬nications, public art, urban design and brand strategy development. As co-founder of Selbert Perkins Design (SPD), she has developed a visionary approach to art, design and communications in the built environment. Robin’s creativity and strategic approach have resulted in worldwide recognition for design excellence. The author of “S.P.A.C.E.,” she has been honored with a myriad of awards, including the L.A. Business Journal’s Innovation Award and the Society for Environmental Graphic Design’s (SEGD) Fellow Award. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, International Sculpture Center, Urban Land Institute, Women in Architecture, and former Board Member of the L.A. Architecture + Design Museum and SEGD. She has served as a juror and guest speaker at conferences around the world, including the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Excellence in Design Awards.
