Josefina is a Chilean designer and MA Design at New South Wales University, Australia, with more than 15 years of experience within the design industry. In 2013, she co founds DEO, a graphic design studio, with Ismael Prieto. The studio`s name, inspired by the acronym of the concept “Designation of Origin”, conveys the interest of its founders on original and good quality design, with the intention of adding value to local industry and entrepreneurs. With works in corporate identity and packaging design, the studio has participated successfully in biennials both in Chile and overseas.
Josefina is also an active member of Chile Diseño (Chilean nonprofit association of designers) and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
