Born in South Korea but Jenny Choo immigrated to the US in her second year of high school. After graduating USC, Los Angeles (BA) and School of Visual Arts, New York (MFA), she made her first job as a set photographer for a feature film. Also, she worked on a few music videos as a post supervisor in New York. She came to Korea at the end of 2007 to work in the film industry. She was a program director for Mise-en-scen Short Film Festival in 2008, which was one of the famous film festivals with its committee members such as director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) and director Park Chan-wook (Old Boy). Also, she was lecturing at the Department of Film at Chung-Ang University. Then she worked as a feature film producer, but occasionally participated in viral spots. Because advertising agencies requested many global projects, she focused her producer career on advertising. Her clients include Samsung, LG, P&G, Korean Air, Kia Motors, SC Johnson, Mercedes Benz, Michael Kors, etc. And she worked on some KPOP music video spots. She founded Blue Jay Pictures in 2015 to create variety of contents. She will continue to produce works and collaborate with various professionals.
