Collin Leix is an animator at Gunner in Detroit. She makes colorful, airy animations featuring subtly surreal landscapes and characters, using virtual reality, Cinema 4D and hand-painted techniques. She brings together her interests in language, new technology, music, cartography, oil painting, and installation to inform her animation. She earned a Masters Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design.
