Professor Dr. Ken Nah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Hanyang University in 1983. He earned a Master’s Degree in Human Factors from KAIST, Seoul, in 1985. He received a Ph.D. in Engineering Design from TUFTS University in 1996. Ken Nah is also a USA Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). He has been a professor of Design at Hongik University in Seoul as well as director of the Human Experience and Emotion Research (HE.ER) Lab since 2000. Ken Nah was the director general of “World Design Capital Seoul 2010”. Ken Nah is a jury member of Red Dot Award: Product Design and Design Concept as well. Dr. Nah received ‘National Medal of Honor’ from the Korean government.
