Dara doesn’t like to talk about herself in the first person, that being said, she’s been an artist all her life and thrives in the dynamic creative field that is commercial art and where is crosses over into self-expression, art for art’s sake and personal growth. She graduated with a BFA from Otis College and decided early on she preferred working to support artists rather than pursue a career in the arts herself. She’s been an agent for commercial photographers, directors, stylists, musicians and more for 20+ years and has a consulting business on the side to support emerging artists. She only desires for creatives to achieve the careers and lives of their dreams. Her goal is to bring love, light and beauty into the world via championing people who have a vision that is visually arresting along with a great personality and mission to boot. She also moonlights as an adjunct professor at Art Center College of Design and has two dachshunds who keep her very busy. She is honored to be included with an accomplished group of colleagues as a juror.
