Nuyorican Creative Producer, Arlene Fernández, has 15 + years of experience as a broadcast producer, creating commercials for Fortune 500 and Blue Chip Clients at Top Ad Agencies in NYC. Her experience includes working as a Senior On-Air Producer for The Cartoon Network, creating original content for the pre-teen market and as an Executive Producer for Spike Lee’s Ad Agency. In 2015, Arlene completed a Filmmaker’s Workshop at The Maysles Documentary Center in Harlem. In 2019, she completed the MFA in Film program at Columbia University - School of the Arts. Her thesis film was chosen as a Jury Select at Columbia University’s 32nd Annual Film Festival. It screened at Lincoln Center in New York and the Linwood Dunn Theater in Los Angeles.
