Katariina is the executive creative director of the multidisciplinary creative studio within Reaktor, a technology, strategy and design company. The mission of the creative studio is to harness future technologies and innovations as tools for exceptional storytelling, and Katariina’s role is to find ways for the studio to merge with the IT powerhouse, uniting ambitious and talented creative minds with cutting-edge technological expertise. Katariina has dedicated her career to finding novel ways to merge creativity, culture and technology, resulting in projects such as a mobile keyboard that supports gender-neutral language for Plan International, a data-driven digital museum of emotions experienced during the pandemic, and a singing volcano created with the help of a seismologist and a renowned composer for a Netflix series.
