Emily is Deputy Director of Visuals at The San Francisco Chronicle, where she works with a team of multimedia journalists with the goal of making creative and critical documentary visual storytelling that fosters empathy and action. Previously, she was The Atlantic's first digital photo editor and art director. Emily's editing work has been recognized by NPPA and ASME and she has served as a mentor for Women Photograph.
