In her work Dutch-Nigerian animation director Aisha Madu (1992) mixes narrative stories and visual poetry, with a minimalist graphic design.
She likes to explore awkward and uncomfortable situations that are part of our everyday life, and address them with humor and a touch of absurdism. She easily moves between arthouse and more commercial projects, working for clients like Dior and The New York Times to developing her animated short House of Broken Hearts.
