New York-born and raised Egyptian-Dominican advertising creative director and jewelry designer, Angie Marei has always had a passion for art and design. Marei began her career as an advertising creative director working with brands such as Tom Ford, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Estee Lauder. While enjoying the creativity of her work in advertising, she longed to create something tangible. Marei took a leap of faith and enrolled in a fine jewelry school to study the art of jewelry design and metalsmithing before launching her line Marei New York. Marei is based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, and provides creative consultancy services for a number of agencies and brands.
