Muhammad Mustafa

Illustrator

Independent

Cairo, Egypt

Visual artist and illustrator Muhammad Mustafa's approach to his craft is peculiarly, and gracefully rooted in his internalized appreciation for life itself. After years in the advertising world, Mustafa heeded the call to weave his acquired experience with his first love - the fine arts - to give birth to a new career as freelance illustrator.

Through his numerous collaborations with world-class clients, he's been able to leave his mark across the works of rock bands (Cairokee), Nobel laureates (Naguib Mahfouz), and globally recognized periodicals (The New York Times).

The Egyptian-born artist then started getting accoladed and acclaimed at the Art Directors Club (ADC) with his merited piece Journey of the Samovar in 2018, later with “CTRL” album art for Egyptian rap artist Marwan Pablo in 2021, while continuing the momentum with a multitude of other pieces until present day. An impending return to freestyle painting is currently tickling his muse
