Before joining Havas Ortega Group, Manila as Executive Creative Director, Angie led the digital creative group at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Manila as Creative Director and Head of Content. Her two-decade journey in the industry has taken her to Ogilvy and TBWA\SMP in the Philippines, and Grey Group in Malaysia. She was a radio DJ and newscaster for some of Metro Manila’s most popular FM stations before joining advertising. Angie has garnered local and international awards in creativity and effectiveness, and served as a juror for some of the world’s most prestigious creative awards shows like Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Young Guns 19 and D&AD. She has been invited as a panelist in local industry events, served as Creative Panel Head in the Philippine Agency of the Year Management Committee, and a Director in the Creative Guild Board. She’s currently the Creative Guild’s Director-in-Charge for Young Creatives. Passionate about learning, she has mentored Fine Arts students at University of the Philippines, Diliman, and was a professor at De La Salle College of St. Benilde, School of Design and Arts. She is also venturing into transforming an abandoned school into a platform for artists and writers in her home province. And currently, Angie is enrolled in the Digital Management Accelerator Programme of Hyper Island, Singapore.
