Valerie Villaflor, also known as VALVEE, is a Filipina visual artist, Regional Senior Art Director at Publicis Groupe, and a toy designer based in Singapore.

She graduated with cum laude honors from the University of the Philippines. Valerie started her career as an advertising art director in Manila, and her work has been consistently recognized in international award shows.

When she’s not busy working on ads, she spends an exhausting amount of time painting, illustrating, and designing toys. Being born and raised in the Philippines influenced every aspect of Valerie’s art - from creating everyday patterns and conceptualizing characters to using bold images. She loves exploring grid-like characters and intricate patterns for her artworks, as she finds it calming and something the audience can’t help but smile at.

Her paintings and toy designs have been featured in art shows in Manila, Singapore, and New York.
