Uma Rudd Chia is the multi-awarded Executive Creative Director and Co-founder of KVUR, a global creative solutions agency based in Singapore. Uma is also a sought-after global keynote speaker specialising on the topics of innovation, generative AI, Web 3, women empowerment and creativity. She has spoken at over 19 countries to over 500,000 people over the past years at events organised by Forrester Global, Facebook, Google, She Loves Data, Pause Fest and South by Southwest. Uma is the founder of The Female Idea, a platform she uses to advocate, mentor and champion female creative leaders. The wife of one husband and the mother of two inquisitive 12 and 14 year old kids and two feisty fur babies, Uma has sung in two acapella albums, created her own award-winning phonics programme - Reading PANTS and has authored three best selling books. Her Kindle Best Seller, 10 Things Brands Could Do To Survive a Crisis, was described by marketers and the Straits Times Singapore as “the toolkit for brands to take positive action to survive Covid-19”. Early this year, she launched her book with Penguin Random House at the end of this year, entitled The Spotted Zebra: What Make You Stick Out Will Make You Stand Out. Uma loves physics, discussions on aliens and wakes up dreaming of walking on Mars. She is currently researching and studying sustainability and working with brands to design and craft their sustainability strategy and stories.
