Verena Hennig is a Design Entrepreneur from Germany and Chief Creative Officer of strategic design and innovation firm AKTTEM. Her ambition is enhance peoples lives trough design and drive active change as a result to society. With every project she and her team are working on, they challenge the existing to create a more sustainable and equal future. She worked for over a decade for and with forward-thinking companies ranging from culture to industry including Google, Youtube, Deutsche Bahn, BMW, MINI, to name a few – producing human centered designs leading to award winning results, business growth and brand recognition for her clients and partners. Verena has won numerous awards over the years including Red Dot Design Award, Germany Design Award, ADC Germany, Iconic Award, Interior Innovation and was named ADC’s Young Guns 15, Top 50 Best German Designer by Architectural Digest and were nominated for the German Design Newcomer Award in 2016. In her career she worked also for GOOGLE Creative Lab, Sagmeister Inc as well as architecture studio Pernilla Ohrstedt Studio in London.
