David Miller, graduate of Parsons School of Design and Paris College of Art (BFA, Illustration), grew up in New York, New Jersey and France. While at art school David landed his first published work in the New York Times, and shortly thereafter began a career as an Illustrator, Painter, Art Director and currently, Associate Creative Director. David has directed large scale web and mobile projects, including the complete site redesign of Marriott.com, which successfully prompted users to interact with the hotel chain’s vast number of properties through a singular-brand experience. David’s work includes digital projects for GE, Mercedes, Fairmont Hotels and Motorola at agencies such as iCrossing, AKQA, Tribal, and Havas. At McCann Health, he has helped the pharmaceutical industry be more relevant to patients by working on powerful animations, wearables and VR projects to help bridge the gap between progressive consumer products and healthcare. David has received many accolades, including a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York for their 54th annual competition and the Young Guns II award from the Art Directors Club. His work has been published in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, GQ, The Boston Globe and Outside Magazine, Communication Arts illustration annual and American Illustration. Other accomplishments include book cover illustrations for the complete works of Milan Kundera (Faber & Faber, London) and an illustrated monthly column in Details magazine. Along with a continuing love of low-fi 60’s sci fi films and imagining he’s biking up the Alp d’Huez (oh so slowly), David also enjoys any kind of sheep dog, chooses rye over vodka, and prefers a Scandinavian arctic ski tour over surfing. David currently resides in the Catskills and Brooklyn.
