Esther Pearl Watson has an MFA from CalArts and is the author of the comic Unlovable for Bust Magazine and Fantagraphics Books.Watson has lectured extensively including “Teaching Design Responsibility and the Millennium Dream Project,” UNESCO NGO/DPI CONFERENCE, Paris, France. She has taught at Oxbow Artist Residency, The Lexicon of Sexicana at Columbia College in Chicago, and attended Artist-in-Residence through Gra\ikiens Hus Mariefred, Sweden. Watson’s paintings are exhibited with Maureen Paley in London, Andrew Edlin in New York, Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporario in Milan, Webb Gallery in Texas and Susanne Vielmetter Projects in Los Angeles. Her paintings are in world wide in major contemporary art fairs including Basel Switzerland, Art Basel Miami, Armory Art Fair NY, Frieze London, Frieze Los Angeles. She also co-owns the gallery/bookstore HeyThere Projects in Joshua Tree where she divides her time between the Mohave Desert and Los Angeles.
