Raymund Sison

Partner & Chief Creative Officer

Propel Manila

Manila, Philippines

Raymund is madly in love with creativity. It’s helped him turn old plastic bottles into solar lights, name a cola after a country, hijack the Philippine President’s love life on front-page news, create a lotto that got people hunting for art, turn fashion into weapon, reimagine equality in literary classics, and turn a dead Senate bill into an overnight sensation. It’s gotten him into gambling, action films, self-defense, web3, Senate hearings, all the way to getting a global brand director crowd-surf in an activation. Under his creative leadership, Propel Manila became Campaign Global Digital Indie of the Year 2023. Transforming a young digital indie into one of the country’s most awarded agencies, through creativity, culture, and innovation. In 2022, they won 15 Agency of the Year trophies across shows locally, regionally, and globally. Named Tech Innovator of the Year, two years in a row. And built a culture hailed as 2021 Southeast Asia’s best by Campaign Asia. Recognitions that got him a nomination for Southeast Asia Creative Person of the Year. Over 17 years of local and regional experience at DDB, Grey, BBDO, and Publicis, taking care of brands like Jollibee, P&G, UNIQLO, Pepsi, Lazada, Grab, and Heineken. He is passionate about finding fresh innovative ways to tell stories, and finds joy in ideas that meet at the intersection of humanity, creativity, and technology. In doing so, he’s picked up recognitions from Cannes, Clio, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, New York Festivals, Caples, multiple AOYs, including the country’s first Grand Prix at Ad Stars, and the inaugural Grand Prix for E. Zobel Diwa Award for creativity with impact to the community. He enjoys creative communications because this is where his interests intersect – culture, technology, art, literature, community development, psychology, and just pure interest in humanity. He is passionate and persistent about diversity and inclusion, mental health, and mentoring young creatives. He believes that creativity can change the world.
