Growing up in a country with only a few female ECDs across the industry, I’m hoping to play a significant role in empowering female creatives with impactful campaigns that aim towards positive change.

My most significant achievement yet has been putting the topic of domestic abuse on the Eastern Europe’s agenda with a series of moving, insightful, pro-bono campaigns that have each become cultural moments.

The award-winning “Unquiet Voices” film even got screened at the Cannes Film Festival and is used as an educational tool in schools and the Romanian Court of Law.

This year’s #UnExaminable campaign put virginity testing on our society’s agenda and determined the Mina Minovici Institute of Legal Medicine to be the first unit to no longer issue virginity certificates on request in Romania.

I’ve also benefited from international exposure and mentorship — in 20-22 I was the only creative from Eastern Europe from the group to join the prestigious Cannes Lions See It Be It program. I was also invited to judge D&AD, Cresta, Golden Drum, Gerety, KIAF and AD Stars.

At DDB, I was hired as CD and I’m proud to have built a team with almost 50:50 gender ratio.
