Hi! I’m Laura Arcila, I'm a Colombian creative and Art Director currently working at VMLY&R Commerce. I have been working in advertising for approximately 6 years, I have worked in different agencies such as Ogilvy as a trainee, Leo Burnett, Mullen Lowe SSP3, David Bogotá and now VMY&R Commerce.

I have been fortunate to work with very talented teams and beautiful human beings with whom I have done incredible projects. Since I started working in advertising I have been constantly curious and dissatisfied with the lack of women in creativity in agencies, from that moment it became a very important challenge for me to find ways to make a more equitable and diverse industry, this has been going through throughout my career and has been defining my way of working. This encouraged me to create, together with 5 more creative women, El Circulo de Creativas de Colombia two years ago and since then we have been creating different initiatives to make visible and inspire creative women in the Colombian industry. Not all the briefs needs gender perspective but I'm searching these briefs all the time to find ideas that make the world a diverse place.
