Ana Becker doesn't really fit the advertising established roles: copywriter, planner, content creator. Being none of the above but all of them at the same time somehow, she is actually a journalist who creates for brands. As a reporter currently working as a Concept Director, she understands each briefing like a story to be told, a subject to truly dive into and come out with something culturally and socially meaningful. She does that in English and Spanish too. Working for brands like HBO, TikTok, Whirlpool and Kimberly Clark, she won D&AD pencils, a Gold Lion and a spontaneous comment from Cyndi Lauper on a lyric she wrote for a campaign (Thumbs Just Wanna Have Fun was a true hit). Before that, she lived in Asia for two years - which explains why she speaks some Mandarin -, signed cover stories for the biggest science magazine in Brazil and worked as a cook at a Michelin-starred restaurant, where she learned wild teamwork strategies and, pardon the pun she would never ever make, deal with any pickle. She also plays the xequerê at São Paulo's street carnival and sometimes feels like the wasabi baby: is not sure if she wants to try it, but does it anyway and ends up asking for help.
