Soleil has been in the industry for almost 10 years, and is currently a Creative Director for GIGIL, one of the hottest independent agencies in Manila, and one that was hailed International Agency of the Year in the Ad Age Small Agency Awards in 2021. She spent her early years as a copywriter working alongside industry legends at Dentsu and FCB—one of them was former Dentsu Asia Pacific CCO, Ted Lim, who handpicked her to be 1 of the 100 delegates at the 2019 London International Awards Creative LIAisons program. Soleil has also been recognized globally and locally with works for Greenpeace, Netflix, LoveYourself Organization, and Unilever. She has won Gold and Silver Cannes Lions, D&AD Impact Wood and Graphite, multiple awards from Clio, New York Festivals, The One Show Awards, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Effies, AdStars, AdFest, Cresta, Warc, Tambuli, Adobo, Boomerang, and Kidlat. She has also been celebrated by industry peers in competitions like the 2018 LIA Gorilla Doctors competition where she and her partner won a bronze LIA, and the 2019 Cannes Lions Amazon Hackathon competition where she and her team flew to Cannes to compete against 5 other shortlisted teams globally, and of course, her first win was for the 2015 Young Cannes Health Lions competition where she won 3rd place. Her tenacity matched her unwavering creative spirit and made her Campaign Brief Asia’s Top 3 Most Awarded Creative in the Philippines in 2020. In 2019, she was ranked the Top 1 Copywriter and Top 1 Young Creative in the Philippines by Adobo Magazine. In recent years, she was selected as a member of the Cannes 2022 See It Be It cohort along with 20 other women from across the globe. She was also part of The One Club’s Next Creative Leaders 2022 batch.
