Rob Hughes is a writer, film-curator, and script/talent consultant working at the intersection of the Film, TV, Theatre, Video Game and Advertising industries. Rob began his professional life as a film historian and semiotician, before serving as a talent and cultural consultant for world-leading advertising agencies such as Mother, BHH, Saatchi & Saatchis and Creature of London. In 2022 he founded the story-development and script consultancy firm Parchment & Vellum and runs Breeder – an incubator and talent management scheme for young film directors. Since 2016, Rob has served as the Head of Culture at the London offices of the film, TV and advertising production company Moxie Pictures.
