Katrina joins the Lorax in the belief that ‘Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.’ Throughout her 17-year journey working in the Netherlands, the UK, Italy, Thailand and the Philippines, she has kept the desire to make things that people care about. She also thinks the way to do this is to care about the things that most people overlook, from the kerning of a paragraph to an underrepresented point of view. With this mindset, she has created work to stir conversation about gender bias at an early age, to champion that dirt is essential to child development, and to celebrate the comfort of granny pants. These have won accolades of all colours at D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, LIA, and Epica, among others. They have also helped her London office become Effie Agency of the Year, and her Bangkok office become the most award-winning agency in the country. She loves a great discussion about creative work, and has participated in juries for Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Cresta and Creative Circle, including a Jury President role for D&AD. She is currently at 180 Amsterdam.
