Jerry Hoak is an executive creative director and managing partner of The Martin Agency. Under Jerry’s leadership, the creative department has grown by 35% — and has doubled in multicultural representation since he joined the agency in 2016. He has led successful new business pitches for clients including Buffalo Wild Wings, CarMax, DoorDash, Royal Caribbean, Busch Light and Bud Light Seltzer. In 2020 and 2021, he helped Martin earn Adweek’s back-to-back U.S. Agency of the Year honor. Prior to joining Martin, Jerry spent more than a decade in New York at Droga5, Ogilvy and TAXI. His work for Prudential was featured on “Freakonomics” in an episode titled “How to Make a Smart TV Ad.” And his Google Android commercial, “Friends Furever,” became the most shared ad of all time. Jerry is a childhood cancer survivor, loyal husband, devoted father and fierce competitor.
