Rytis has spent more than 10 years working for Apple EMEA. Before that, starting in 2008, he was in charge of building the branch agency of BBDO in Ukraine from the ground up. Under his management, the company grew from 3 to 70 employees in four years and shot TV commercials with RSA (Ridley Scott Associates) featuring the biggest football star in the country – Andriy Shevchenko. Former positions include Creative Director at McCann Lithuania, where the first Cannes Lion for Lithuania was won. Recently his side project, identity for Warsaw Ghetto Museum, was given the Best of Brand/Communication Design award and won the title of Boutique Agency of the Year at the ADC Awards in 2021. At the same time, Rytis was also working on his Ph.D. in analytical anthropology and spent a year as a visiting researcher at the CUNY (City University of New York) Graduate Center. He also taught creative writing courses at Vilnius University for 3 years. He considers himself a dedicated audiophile, endlessly improving his valve/tube amplification system, who has had the pleasure of hearing most living bossa nova and tropicalia musicians live. Was second board on the Lithuanian national youth chess team.
