Jackie Kelman Bisbee is an Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Oscar-and-Emmy-winning production company Park Pictures, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and London. In 1998, Jackie teamed with director-cinematographer Lance Acord to form Park Pictures. Together Jackie and Lance created a company known for their top-tier talent and expert productions. They created unforgettable commercials, including Volkswagen’s “The Force,” which is considered one of the most successful Super Bowl ads of all time. In 2010, Park Pictures won an Academy Award for the short film, The New Tenants, inspiring Jackie and Lance to team up with producer Sam Bisbee to launch the Park Pictures’ feature film division. Since its inception in 2012 Park Features has produced sixteen features, among them Robot and Frank (2013), Infinitely Polar Bear (2015), Cop Car (2015), and Other People (2016), all of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2018 Jackie won a Primetime Emmy Award for Exceptional Merit in Documentary for The Sentence, a film about the destructive impact of mass incarceration on families. In 2019 Lance Acord’s Nike “Dream Crazy” starring Colin Kaepernick garnered worldwide attention and controversy earning Park Pictures the Palme d’Or for most awarded Production Company of the Year at the Cannes Lions Festival. Park Pictures has debuted fourteen features at the Sundance Film Festival including this year’s Earth Mama. Jackie's an executive producer on the feature documentary Not Going Quietly, a film that chronicles the activist Ady Barkan who, while suffering from ALS, courageously takes on Washington DC to advocate for health care reform. Recently, Jackie received the Lou Gehrig Legacy Gala's Jacob K. Javits Lifetime Achievement Award. Jackie was born and raised in New Jersey by immigrant parents. She had a lifelong dream of making feature films and documentaries that shed light on the unfair treatment of humans and animals. She attended NYU Business School and built a production company that produces work for major brands as well as feature films that have an impact. Jackie is on the board of NYCLASS, an organization with a mission to save NYC carriage horses, enacting animal rights legislation into law, and electing pro-animal candidates to office. She resides in Chelsea with her husband, two children, three rescue dogs, and one feral cat.
