Kim Laama is Global Chief Creative Officer at Seamount group, the future-facing brand experience group aligned with TBWA\Worldwide. Kim builds and leads interdisciplinary teams that design human-centered communications, products and services for leading global brands. Kindness, optimism and curiosity drive her every day approach to collaboration and creativity. Prior to Seamount, Kim was VP/ECD at R/GA, overseeing the Portland office and growing R/GA’s Health practice. While at AKQA, Kim was ECD where she led the agency’s most ambitious digital brand transformation programs – envisioning and delivering innovative, values-driven creativity to drive business growth and long-term customer loyalty. Notable clients have included American Express, Audi, Equinox, Nike, Verizon, Soho House, Samsung, Target, Xbox and Visa. Kim’s passion lies in creating a talent-first culture. She’s designed and implemented employee experiences and programs that have resulted in more inclusive, equitable and joyful workplaces, yielding greater career opportunities and safe spaces for talent. Kim started her career as a UI developer at various Bay Area startups, following a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University. Kim is currently sun soaking, hiking and learning Spanish in Los Angeles, but will always be a midwesterner at heart.
