Team One (Virtual) / April 11 - 18, 2024

Team One one has returned to host another all-virtual Creative Boot Camp! The weeklong event will take place online from Thursday, April 11th to Thursday, April 18th. During the workshop, attendees will be broken into groups to work on a client brief and produce a full advertising campaign.

The Boot Camp is designed for Black creatives, but all students and recent graduates are welcome to apply. On the final day of the boot camp, each team will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges made up of top agency professionals and brand stakeholders. The winning group will receive an internship with Team One!

Make no mistake: just because it’s virtual doesn’t mean it’s any less intense. Regardless of time zone, participants will have seven business days to engage with their team members to prepare and present their ideas.

The tentative schedule for the week is as follows:

THURSDAY, APRIL 11 (MANDATORY FOR ALL BOOT CAMPERS)

• Program overview/review expectations
• Agency presents the creative brief
• Mentor and teammate introductions

FRIDAY, APRIL 12 THROUGH TUESDAY, APRIL 16 (INDEPENDENT GROUP WORK)

• Bootcampers work independently with teammates, Mentors will be matched to groups depending on availability
• Final presentations due

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17 (MANDATORY FOR ALL BOOT CAMPERS)

• Presentation Rehearsals
• Final meeting with Mentors

THURSDAY, APRIL 18 (MANDATORY FOR ALL BOOT CAMPERS)

• Presentation Day
• Judging
• Winners Announced
